This project seeks to build on our work with partners in China and embark on a series of programs aimed at strengthening equality and non-discrimination in the areas of sex, residency and disability.  We will provide assistance in building a platform of action to support the development of these initiatives through public interest litigation, policy change,and comparative best practices.  This will result in expanded capacity among women’s rights and equal protection advocates to use the anti-discrimination clause in lawmaking, address gender bias in judicial decision making and broaden access to justice for women~by sharing international and comparative frameworks of law reform.
