PROJECTS

Authors: Natalie S. Eldridge, Julie Mencher, Suzanne Slater

Three Stone Center scholars focus on mutuality especially in lesbian client/lesbian therapist dyads. Mencher discusses structural elements, such as power and inherent role differentials, in lesbian dyads. Slater examines intimacy development in the therapeutic relationship within the context of both women's past experience forming love relationships. Eldridge outlines principles of ethical thinking from a relational model and suggests the ethical use of mutuality as applied to common ethical issues in lesbian dyads.
