Social media is a large part of life for many of today's teens and young adults, but what do we know about how it affects their lives? The Media & Identity Study targeted and recruited diverse, hard-to-reach populations of youth nationwide to understand how media shapes their lives and identities, particularly through online social networking. In this video, Dr. Linda Charmaraman gives an overview of the ongoing project.
